SUPER SIMPLÉ MAC & CHEÉSE ITALIAN STYLE 









INGRÉDIENTS

  • 4 tabléspoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all purposé flour
  • 2 cups wholé milk (2% is good too)
  • 1 pound mini penné dry pasta
  • 8 ounces gratéd Italian cheese (* see below to make your own mix)
  • 1/3 cup gratéd fresh parmesan
  • 1 tabléspoon dried Italian seasoning (I prefer Tuscan-style McCormick Italian seasoning)



*INSTRUCTIONS

  • Bring a largé saucepan of water to a boil, salt, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package, al dente. Drain the pasta once cooked and set aside. Work on thé next step while your pasta is cooking.
  • Méanwhile, in a medium saucepan over the melted butter over medium heat, add the flour and Italian seasoning and whisk for about 2 minutes to cook the flour taste. Add thé milk and continue to whisk from time to time, asking for the mixture to thicken. Add the cheeses and whisk until smooth.
  • Pour the chéese sauce over the filtered pasta and stir to combine. The sauce thickens gradually.
  • Sérve and taste!
